Sport has a big place in everyday life at Strathallan. The School has a long tradition of sporting excellence with a number of alumni being Olympic and Commonwealth athletes. While we are able to provide opportunities for the most talented to compete at the highest level, our ethos is about inclusion. Our aim is to instill the benefits of regular exercise and develop the skills required for pupils to enjoy sport throughout their lives. 100% of pupils represent the school in team sports under the age of 15 and participation right through to Sixth Form is extremely high. We also support a broad spectrum of individual sports such as Golf, skiing, canoeing, equestrian disciplines and clay target shooting.
Talented Athlete Programme
Our Talented Athlete Programme provides tailored support to pupils who have been selected to represent their district, region or country. Each pupil receives extra skills sessions, advice on diet and nutrition and follows a sport specific strength and conditioning programme.
